Ever since I was a kid, I loved creative writing and as I got older, I got acquainted with those voices in my head and that led to putting my stories on paper. And now, here I am all these years later, spending my days doing what I love most. I decided to give myself over to writing full time in 2012 and I haven't looked back. I spent nearly 13 years in the corporate world and I have to say, this is a bit of a change (just a little) and I am loving every second of it.
I live in Texas with my husband and three amazing kids and our four beloved dogs. If I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. I devour everything I can get my hands on. I love romance of any type and being an Indie author myself, I'm always looking for new Indies to support. I haven't always been into reading, but about eleven years ago, I picked up a book - I'm pretty sure it was by Nora Roberts - and from there, I haven't stopped. Before I began writing full time, and my characters started taking up so much of my time, I was reading about 200 books a year. That has dwindled somewhat, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't read.
An interesting fact... I don't watch television - aside from the occasional news anyway. I will go see a movie or two rarely, but for the most part, I get all of my entertainment from a book. Some of my favorite authors include J.R. Ward, Suzanne Brockmann, Lora Leigh, Jane Rylon, Lori Foster, and Jaci Burton just to name a few.

If he’d been edgy earlier, he was damn near chiseled to a fine point now. Due to his short supply of patience, he wasn’t handling all this wasting time well. He had good reason though. At least he thought it was a good reason. When Gage had called a halt to their fooling around, Travis had been hanging by a thread – a thin, frayed, ready-to-snap-in-two thread. Luke should’ve gone home right after his blowup with Cole. He knew that. He didn’t though.
Instead of doing what was necessary to right the wrongs, Luke had sat his ass in his office, staring at the walls and wondering just what the hell was going on. Why was this so damn hard? Were they making it harder on themselves? The only person who seemed to be grounded in the relationship was Sierra. Even with so much going on, she seemed to be the only one thinking rationally.
It wasn’t like he could fault Cole for expressing himself because he’d obviously managed to keep it all in, the same way Luke was managing his own feelings these days.
During Luke’s conversation with Sierra the week before, he’d pelted her with his insecurity. He tossed out question after question on how they were going to handle this relationship once the baby was born. The urge to do some serious bodily damage to Gage Matthews had only intensified in the last week or so. At this point, Travis couldn’t ensure that the man would walk away unscathed. Not after what he’d done.
If it were up to Travis, he would’ve already confronted the man. Since he had to actually come face to face with him in order for that to happen, his hands were somewhat tied. Gage had managed to skip town shortly after the fiasco that ensued at Kaleb’s the day Gage came walking through the door with the one woman Travis seriously never expected to see again.
He was beginning to worry about the tension that was pulling at him these days. Part of him wanted to attribute his desire to self-destruct to what Gage had done, but he knew it was more than that. It was a wonder that Travis and Gage were still in one piece after that one. Between Kylie’s death glare and Beau Bennett’s barely restrained anger at seeing the woman so upset, they were both lucky to still be walking with their nuts in the same shape as before she realized what was going on. As for Beau, well, Travis learned not to ask the man questions after that because he’d grown quite fond of his own fucking head and that behemoth of a man looked ready to rip it clean from his body.
Surprise wasn’t quite the word Travis could use to describe that day. If he hadn’t been waylaid by the mere sight of the most beautiful woman to have ever graced Travis’ life, he’d have probably beaten Gage to a pulp right then and there. Finding him since had been damn near impossible because Gage managed to run far and fast from Coyote Ridge. He knew when it came down to it, Travis was going to have to go in search of the man. Since he still didn’t know where he was, he’d opted for a different approach.
Rather than run the risk of jumping in his truck and going in search of Kylie, Travis decided he’d take a trip up north. His self-destructive tendencies were calling his name and rather than try and go after what he wanted, he figured the best option he had at the moment was to fill his time with something that wouldn’t require him to feel anything other than unique, exquisite pleasure.
